Buckflix is a new kid on the block. It is an intense internet startup that will surely put some of that bacon back in your wallet. Motion pictures are distributed via a newer technology called DVD (digital versatile disc). You will have to ask your neighbor to help you pick your lower jaw off the floor when you see the picture quality. OH BOY! We have finally reached the digital age. Just make sure that you don't try to watch it with a CD player because even though they look the same, they don't work the same way. I thought that the movie name was "Error" the first time I tried it out. My face was really a beet red I'll bet.
Visit Buckflix.tk, tweeter with them, or check out the good old blogging.
Spoiler alert. The review below contains spoilers about the plot and story of Chinese Hercules. If you want to have the full viewing experience, I suggest you bookmark this page, watch the movie, form your own opinions, and come back later to read this.
00:00 - You know that intensity is on the way to your eyes.

01:36 - Character development. The main character is on the right.

03:50 - Intense night fighting already.

07:00 - He feels guilty that he kills somebody so he goes to the ocean to break his hand with a rock. He will never fight again.

08:45 - He decides to work at a dock carrying shipments of $aving$.

09:57 - "Noodles please." Kids will recite this for generations.

10:20 - He is suspicious of the new dock hand. How can he be so strong? My heart is pounding with anticipation of plot progress.

10:50 - CA$H!

11:45 - Thieves steal nourishment.

12:40 - Bandits didn't get away with it this time!!!

14:45 - Our main character decides to help.

16:00 - Some rich city slicker stops the fight but starts it again.

20:30 - There are not many rules that need to be followed at this crazy place.

22:25 - More big wigs on the way into town. Uh oh.

23:40 - Did somebody say Landscrapers……. :)!!!!

26:04 - Look at all that bread!!

27:33 - Don't underestimate your workers, you one percent!

29:50 - This soul was so upset about the Syndicate moving into town that he swung a stool at his own home!

32:40 - Take THAT!

35:40 - Tell the kids to retire to their rooms. This scene is steamy! Warning, the next image is rated above kids level of entertainment. (Hugging with bare arms.)

38:10 - So then there's a fight about something. Oh no!

41:09 - That spells "T-R-O-U-B-L-E".

43:42 - A real warrior draws near.

47:50 - This poor man was beaten up bad! I'm afraid he's seen better days.

52:10 - This big fellah is too strong for his own good.

55:55 - Watch where you're running, little missy. You're going to get yourself a big goose egg on your head right before the prom.

57:09 - The lovely lady makes a return to a new place.

1:02:00 - Everybody bury a log.

1:05:39 - Let us do some damage!

1:06:01 - He'll be feeling that for days!

1:10:58 - So many fights. This place really could use some police.

1:12:05 - This is where I paused the movie to change my laundry from WET to DRY. I say a little thing to myself to remember that order. You should come up with sayings to remember things.

1:15:30 - Another confusing flashback. Come on, Hollywood. We want to see more new footage!

1:17:10 - Incredible plot twist! I can't reveal exactly what she said, but it turns the whole film on its own head!!

1:18:00 - 1:25:00 - I won't bore you with the details but the final fight is truly a feat of classic film.

END - A happy ending.

What did I tell you about the digital quality? You believe me now! Try Buckflix today and your wife will love you as your wallet grows thick.
Overall I wish that there were special features on the DVD. I would love to meet the orchestra and hear what the director was thinking during some of the more critical scenes. It would be nice to let the loved ones speak on behalf of their family that was killed during the movie fight scenes. You can't blame everything on the director and orchestra. Sometimes fights just happen and a camera is there at the right time. Lights, camera, death.
This was a great old tale and it is nice to see it told in a new light that will grab younger audiences. It is times like now that we need to be reminded of our roots…even if they are attached to a stinkwood tree.
