Lots of video game stuff today but that's not all! Please to be enjoy it.

Do you know Zelda? Lisa knows Zelda pretty well. So does Kaelyn. Link has been kicking around for a long time and still draws a crowd. Think you know it all? Read this History of Zelda. Interesting stuff with some cool pictures.
Quick intermission from the video games. This is how you would make a snow-globe better than it already is. The spider one is creepy.
I was reading the comments for this YouTube video and feel a little bad for the kid who uploaded the video. He's got an awesome collection of Mario Bros. stuff but he's only 11 years old. People (and I use the term "people" loosely) are mad that the kid is spoiled and that his parents bought all of this stuff for him. Sure it is probably thousands of dollars of worthless merchandise but who cares? Are you jealous? What kid would say no to all of this cool junk?
Back in my day, we had to pay for all of our toys, twice, in the snow. And these toys weren't even fun, they were rocks and shovels. And we liked it that way!
My guess is that dad or mom (probably dad) is a nerd and/or video game fan and didn't mind buying his son all of this stuff. It's the real reason there are expensive Nerf guns and Legos that are anything but simple and fun.
Ever wonder where animal names come from? Here they are anyway.
The characters in video games originally all looked the same. The all looked like nothing because it was too hard to draw them in 24 pixels. Today, a high quality game on an HD system will render very realistic models.

Most of them anyway. My point is that now characters have styles. Haircuts, skin colors, nose shapes, even eye color. Sometimes these characters grew into their styles. Mario looked as human as human could be on the NES. Today he's a big, cartoony guy who hardly represents real life. As some games progressed through the graphics revolution, some characters went the more "real" route. Some of those evolved into the worst hairstyles in video games.
This is the cutest thing you'll see today.
